Welcome to the Gothack. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document, it will help you navigate the pits and traps this community has created for new members.
General Rules:
1. Read up before asking!
2. Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered.
3. Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.
4. Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
5. Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to Redskull or Frenzied.
6. Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
7. Official language is English only.
8. Requests must be made within Request forums only.
9. Do not request for mirrors in existing threads. If one is available, it will be provided.
10. If you downloaded something, thank the poster for their efforts.
12. Report dead links using the report button.
Posting Rules:
1. Do not spam.
2. Do not advertise or solicit.
3. Do not post adult material, unless in the appropriate section. This includes Hentai (or other animated adult material) and explicit adult themed games.
4. Do not cross post. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
5. Post in the correct forum.
6. Keep font sizes relatively small and easy to read. (Max size: 4-5)
7. Links must be in [code] tags, without URL tags. (All external links leading away from the site)
Example:
PHP Code: [code]http://google.com[/code]
8. Thread starters: DO NOT BUMP YOUR THREADS WITH UNNECESSARY INFORMATION (e.g. "you're welcome", "up", and so on...). Creating duplicate accounts to bump your own threads will get ALL accounts banned.
Profile Rules:
1. Do not post requests or inappropriate messages as visiting comments.
2. Do not abuse or exploit the profile page in any way.

Sharing Integrity:
1. Whether you upload your own shares or simply share what's found elsewhere, please verify the content to make sure it indeed fits the description. Not providing passwords or incorrect passwords, incomplete content and/or missing links. (Does not apply for the Request sections)
Failure to abide by any rules mentioned will result in a warning or instant ban if deemed highly inappropriate.
